THE BAND PERRY’S “IF I DIE YOUNG” CERTIFIED QUADRUPLE PLATINUM;

BEST SINGLE SALES OF ANY OTHER COUNTRY ACTS IN THE PAST 18 MONTHS

With Over 4 Million Copies Sold, The Trio’s Breakout Hit Maintains A Long Life

Nashville, TN (March 6, 2012) – On the heels of celebrating a recent two-week #1 with their Gold-certified single, “All Your Life,” and a Platinum debut album, the excitement continues this week for The Band Perry. The RIAA has certified their #1 smash, “If I Die Young” Quadruple Platinum for sales exceeding 4 million. The breakout hit is the only single from a debut album in the last 18 months to achieve this status and has sold more copies than any other Country artist in the same timeframe.

The irony of the title and the song’s enduring success are not lost on the sibling trio. “"We are honored by this acknowledgement and thankful that so many of you have connected with this song," said Kimberly Perry, who was honored as the song's author with the 2011 CMA Award for Song of the Year.

The 2012 ACM Group of the Year nominees will host the upcoming GAC television special, highlighting the 2012 ACM New Artist of the Year contenders. Just last year, The Band Perry was named both the ACM and CMA New Artist of the Year and earned the CMA Single of the Year and the CMT Music Awards’ for Breakthrough Video of the Year. Previously they garnered GRAMMY, TEEN CHOICE, AMA and ACA award nods.

“Each time the bar is set, it seems that The Band Perry surpasses it! Selling over 4 million downloads on just one song is a huge accomplishment. This extremely talented group is remarkable and we’re thrilled to have them as part of the Republic Nashville family,” said Republic Nashville President Jimmy Harnen.

The Band Perry is currently touring as a special guest on Brad Paisley’s VIRTUAL REALITY WORLD TOUR 2012 as well as headlining their own dates. Their next up-tempo single, "Postcard From Paris," is going for immediate airplay at Country radio.

The Band Perry’s First Grammy Awards Experience

Marks Yet another Career Milestone for the Young Group

Nashville, TN (Feb. 17, 2012) -- The Band Perry received a flurry of press following their performance with Glen Campbell at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards this past Sunday night but perhaps the real story for them happened off- stage.   It was their very first Grammy nomination and performance. That performance inspired an intersection of two generations, that of Campbell’s and the new fans that The Band Perry is bringing to the country music format.

The group garnered a nomination in the “Best New Artist” category and was asked to join the historic tribute to Campbell, which also included country star Blake Shelton and Campbell himself.  Campbell, who recently revealed he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, just released his final studio album and will also complete his final live tour this year. The performance on the CBS broadcast of the Grammy Awards was also quite possibly the legend’s final television appearance as well.

“We are so honored to have been a part of the tribute to Glen Campbell,” says Kimberly Perry. “It was special in so many ways. Our parents have always been big fans and they introduced us to his music in our early years. Our performance with him was such an amazing crossroads between our parent’s generation and ours. His timeless songs and talent have truly left a legacy that will continue to inspire new artists and new fans alike.”

“Performing in such a historical moment is something that we will remember forever. We grew up listening to songs like “Gentle on My Mind” and then to be able to perform it as a tribute to the man himself was just incredible,” says Reid Perry.

“It was not only special to perform with Glen Campbell but also with his band. We are a family band and his family is also in his band, his children are part of the group. We really felt like everything had come full circle for us. They made us feel so comfortable and part of the family,” comments Neil Perry.

The Band Perry’s appeal far reaches that of the usual country music format. Their roots-inspired contemporary sound has garnered fans from all over the world.  They are bringing a younger demographic to the country music format and they are doing it with pride.

The Band Perry’s current single “All Your Life” tops the country radio charts for a second week in the coveted #1 spot and also recently garnered RIAA GOLD sales status.

Toolpusher Recording artist Jason Sturgeon Hits 500,000 Views
For his video “Simple Life” on YouTube

Nashville, TN (Feb. 3, 2012) – Toolpusher recording artist Jason Sturgeon is celebrating a career milestone as his debut video “Simple Life” hit 500,000 views on his YouTube Channel this week!!

“When I wrote ‘Simple Life’ I never dreamed so many people would relate to it so much. It’s just a song about me and where I grew up,” says Sturgeon.

This year is going to be a busy year for Sturgeon. He is a featured performer on the Monster Truck Nationals 2012 Tour and is also recording a brand new CD. The first single from the CD “Time Bomb” is set to hit the airwaves this spring. Jason and his band just finished shooting a music video for the song which is also the theme that is slated to open the Monster Truck Nationals 2012 Tour.

Here's what some of Jason's fans are saying about "Simple Life"

I come from a small town in Kansas where everyone pulls over to let an ambulance or a funeral procession pass. We wave at each other in our cars. We don't have fire flies; we've got lightning bugs. "Y'all" is a proper noun and "aint " is definitely a word! Shoes ain't necessary and if we go outside we get dirty and we aren't afraid of it! Chicken is fried & Iced tea is the house wine. Wash cloths are? "wash rags." And, if you disrespect your Momma you're gonna seriously regret it.

God Bless the simple things, the? good old boys, small towns, and pickup trucks.

It doesn't matter what state you're? in, there's country simple life everywhere and the people who live the simple country life enjoy it.

The simple life where i live is teenagers goin to Wal-Mart on Friday nights and raisin hell on that blacktop ;-) I LOVE the simple life!!!
